Offenbach, 12 January 2026 - For the first time in the European history of Sumitomo Rubber Industries Ltd. (SRI), DUNLOP will take centre stage on a joint stand with FALKEN at Automässan, held on 14-17 January in Gothenburg, Sweden. The leading Scandinavian trade fair for the automotive service and aftermarket industry marks an important milestone for both brands.

DUNLOP has been part of the SRI Group since January 2025. In a further strategically significant move, FALKEN assumed responsibility for distributing DUNLOP tyres in Europe in January 2026. Automässan 2026 represents the first major European trade fair where both brands appear under the SRI umbrella - united, but differentiated in their market roles.

At the joint stand, visitors can explore the latest DUNLOP premium products and discover Falken’s newest tyre innovations. Both brands will also showcase shared technologies and future development directions. Beyond the product displays, attendees can enjoy interactive sporting experiences: DUNLOP Sports will provide padel, squash and tennis rackets to try out, while FALKEN will exhibit an original PDC dartboard and a handball signed by the German national team in 2024. Another highlight is a racing simulator featuring Gran Turismo 7, for which DUNLOP serves as the official tyre partner.

With this first joint appearance, SRI underscores its commitment to offering a strong, future‑proof tyre portfolio from a single source – built on the combined expertise and clearly defined brand strategies of DUNLOP and FALKEN. The collaboration also reinforces the group’s position as a reliable partner for retailers, workshops and the wider automotive industry.

Automässan 2026 will take place in Gothenburg from 14 to 17 January. The 110m² joint stand is located in Hall A02:62.
