DUNLOP is set to make a significant impact on the European premium summer tyre market in 2026 with the expansion of a comprehensive seasonal range including the latest Blue Response TG pattern. Following the successful acquisition of the DUNLOP brand in Europe by Sumitomo Rubber Industries in January 2025, its revised range is designed to meet the demands of a broad variety of vehicles, from high-performance sports cars to SUVs, everyday passenger models and classic cars.
Leading the premium lineup is the all-new Blue Response TG, a tyre developed to deliver a balance of performance, braking in both the wet and dry and comfort. Launching in spring 2026, Blue Response TG will be available in 99 sizes, covering rim diameters from 15 to 21 inches and 40 to 65 profiles. The tyre is engineered to offer well-balanced performance, with a particular focus on mileage and comfort, making it suitable for a wide spectrum of vehicles and driving styles. Speed ratings will include H, V and W.
The Blue Response TG joins DUNLOP’s established, respected summer portfolio, which includes Sport Maxx Race 2, Sport Maxx GT, Sport Maxx RT2 and RT2 SUV, Sport Bluresponse, Sport Response and Sport Classic. Sport Maxx Race 2 is DUNLOP’s premium sports tyre, developed for maximum road and track performance. It offers exceptional grip in dry conditions, even under high cornering g-forces and outstanding stability at high speeds thanks to its increased lateral stiffness and block strength. The optimised tyre contour balances the pressure distribution across the footprint for the ultimate steering precision and confidence. Available in 10 sizes for 20 and 21-inch rims, it is fitted as original equipment to models such as the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and Cayman GT4.
As demonstrated with factory fit for both Audi RS5 and BMW 7 Series, Sport Maxx GT delivers crisp responsiveness and assured stability for sporty performance, with reliable grip and precise handling. It is offered in 22 sizes from 18 to 21 inches with Y speed rating available. Completing the motorsport-derived ‘Sport Maxx’ line, Sport Maxx RT2 and RT2 SUV are designed for confidence at every turn, combining aquaplaning resistance with precise steering response and reassuring lateral grip for cornering. Its range covers 91 sizes from 17 to 21 inches, suitable for a wide array of performance cars and SUVs.
Sport Bluresponse is a summer tyre that, thanks to its polymer compound, delivers reassuring handling in wet conditions and shorter braking distances. Its aerodynamic profile and low heat compound help to reduce the rolling resistance of the tyre by up to 30 per cent when compared with its predecessor. Available in 54 sizes for 14 to 17-inch rims, it is original equipment for the Volkswagen Golf and Skoda Octavia. Designed for SUVs and heavier vehicles, the Sport Response delivers outstanding dry grip along with good wet braking. The range includes 21 sizes from 16 to 20 inches, ensuring reliable performance and enhanced stability for a variety of passenger cars.
The summer tyre range also includes the performance-oriented Sport Maxx 050 and Sport Maxx 060, both engineered for driving enthusiasts seeking precise handling and stability in wet and dry conditions. For classic car owners, Sport Classic rounds out the passenger car lineup, blending modern tyre technology, iconic heritage tread patterns and “DUNLOP Sport” sidewall designs to deliver grip and stability in 10 sizes for 13 to 15-inch rims.
Continuing DUNLOP’s commitment to the light commercial sector, Econodrive and Econodrive LT are designed for long-lasting mileage and dependable durability, thanks to the robust carcass with reinforced sidewalls to increase rolling resistance and reduce kerb damage.
“Our 2026 summer range is diverse and far-reaching, reflecting DUNLOP’s commitment to exceeding the expectations of drivers across numerous segments,” explains Marcus Schulz, Assistant Manager Product Planning, at DUNLOP. “From high-performance sports cars to commercial and classic vehicles, our portfolio ensures there is a premium DUNLOP tyre for virtually every application this summer.”
